Privacy Policy

The short version

Part 107 Prep does not collect your personal data. There is no account to create, no server that stores your identity, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and nothing is sold or shared. Your study progress lives on your device and — if you choose — syncs privately through your own iCloud account, which we cannot see.

1.Who we are

Part 107 Prep: Drone Test (the “App”) is published by 余夕（上海）网络科技有限公司 (Yuxi (Shanghai) Network Technology Co., Ltd.) (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains how the App handles information. It applies only to the App, not to any third-party service you may separately use (such as Apple’s App Store or iCloud).

2.Information we do not collect

We designed the App to work without knowing who you are. Specifically, the App does not:

require or create an account, email, or password;
run any third-party analytics, tracking, attribution, or advertising SDKs;
collect your name, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers for tracking, or browsing activity;
build an advertising profile or share data with data brokers;
sell or rent any information to anyone.

Because the App does not track you across apps or websites, it does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.

3.Data that stays on your device (and your iCloud)

The App stores your learning data locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData). This includes your practice answers, review schedule, mock-exam results, and your Readiness Score. This data never leaves your device except as described below.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, the App syncs your learning data through your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so your progress follows you across your Apple devices. This sync is handled by Apple and stored in your personal iCloud database. We have no access to it and cannot read your synced data. Apple’s handling of iCloud is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can turn iCloud off for the App in iOS Settings at any time.

4.In-app purchases

The App offers one optional, one-time purchase — the Single-Exam Pass (a non-consumable, not a subscription) that unlocks the full question bank, unlimited mock exams, AI explanations, and your Readiness Score. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID. The App only checks Apple’s purchase receipt on your device to unlock features, and offers a Restore Purchases option that asks Apple to re-confirm an existing purchase.

5.AI explanations

For each question the App can generate a plain-English explanation and answer follow-up questions you type.

Where your device supports it, explanations are generated on-device using Apple’s built-in models (Apple Foundation Models). In that case nothing leaves your device.
Where on-device generation is unavailable, the App uses a rate-limited cloud fallback. To produce an explanation, the relevant question content and the follow-up text you type are sent to that service to generate a response. No account, name, device identifier, or your learning history is attached, and this content is not used to build a profile of you or to train models.

Please avoid typing personal or sensitive information into the follow-up box, since that text is what gets sent when the cloud fallback is used.

6.Children’s privacy

The App is a professional exam-prep tool for the FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, this exposure is minimal.

7.Your choices and rights

Since we don’t collect or hold your personal data on any server, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete. You are always in control:

Delete your data: deleting the App removes its on-device data. To remove synced data, delete the App’s data from iCloud in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.
Stop syncing: disable iCloud for the App in iOS Settings.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights over personal data. As we do not collect personal data, we have none to provide, correct, or delete — but you can always contact us with questions.

8.Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
